65 years after its founding, CROWN is the worldwide leader in professional amplifier technology. CROWN by HARMAN came from a analogue background and are now clearly a digital, networked, and implement switch mode amplifier technology. At avt we believe CROWN by HARMAN offer the best amplifiers on the market.
The CDi DriveCore Series is an evolution in amplification, providing an impressive mix of high-performance; rich feature set, and competitive cost. Using technology derived from our flagship Installed Sound amplifier (Crown DriveCore Install series), the CDi DriveCore 2|300 offers streamlined functionality to work in almost any small/medium sized installation such as restaurants, retail stores, and more.
Designed for ease-of-use in a variety of applications, with Analogue and/or BLU-Link input, the 2|300 is a 2-channel amp that includes network control/monitoring, high-level DSP, front-panel interface, and support for driving 4/8 Ohm or 70/100Vrms speaker loads without requiring a transformer. The entire CDi DriveCore line comes pre-loaded with JBL speaker tunings to help make installations quicker and easier.
The DriveCore Install DA series is a line of premium installation amplifiers with Analogue, BSS BLU-Link, AVB or Dante™ / AES67 networked audio transport that are based upon proprietary DriveCore technology. These amplifiers feature an efficient design with network control/monitoring, high-level DSP with JBL tunings, and 2/4/8 Ohm or /70V/100V direct output compatibility.
Powering this remarkable series of amplifiers is the pioneering technology of DriveCore™, which integrates the amplifier drive stage into the power output stage fusing everything into a small chip. DriveCore’s front-end drive circuits leverage the inherent efficiency of Class D output stages while also maintaining superb sonic characteristics. The end result is an audio amplifier circuit that exhibits the exemplary audio quality of a highly evolved Class AB design.
The Crown commercial range of amplifiers delivers high value mixer-amplifiers for commercial audio. They provide 8-ohm and constant-voltage outputs (70V and 100V). Typical uses are paging, background music, and music-on-hold. The 135MA provides 3 inputs (each with a volume control) and a 35W amplifier output. The 160MA provides 4 inputs (each with a volume control) and a 60W amplifier output. Other features include priority muting, voice activated muting, phantom power, and bass and treble controls.
